MATHEMATICS OF PLANET EARTH (MPE)

Un deuxième concours est lané par MPE. Il a été lancé le 10 Mars à Dakar au Sénégal lors du
forum Einstein.Cette compétition est organisée par les organismes suivants :
- Mathematics of Planet Earth (MPE),
- the International Basic Science Program (IBSP) de l'UNESCO,
- the International Mathematical Union (IMU),
- the International Commission of Mathematical Instruction (ICMI) and IMAGINARY. La date limite est le 30 juin 2017 et les prix vont de 5000 à 1000 dollars.
On peut concourir dans différentes catégories :

- Program: An interactive software exhibit to be used either on the web or in a museum. - Hands-on: A module explaining how to realize a physical module in a museum. - Film: A short video that can be shown in an exhibition. - Image gallery: A collection of images accompanied of their mathematical description.
